Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced, licensed, project landscape architect with 10 to15 years of professional landscape architecture experience, preferably with public projects. Applicants should have a range of experience in design, construction document production, construction administration, and interaction with clients. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who share our commitment to service and quality design, and who are looking for an opportunity to grow professionally. Business development experience and interest is a plus. The position offers the opportunity to collaborate with other landscape architecture practitioners and other design professionals on significant public projects.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a valid and current license in landscape architecture in the state of Washington and have a minimum of 10 years professional experience. Successful candidates will have experience managing public projects from conceptual through final design and construction administration, including managing internal team members and subconsultant team members. Project managers should have strong design and analytical skills, good technical writing skills, and good graphic and oral communication skills. We are seeking self-motivated individuals looking for an opportunity to grow professionally and expand their expertise in marketing and business development roles. Applicant must be proficient in a range of computer skills including AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Desirable: proficiency with GIS and/or other digital graphic software; LEED accreditation or pursuing same; Civil3D knowledge, or interest in learning.
Terms of Employment
Responsibilities and salary/benefits commensurate with experience and ability. Position open is full-time, however part-time or contract position may be considered. Applicant should be available to start immediately. Our office is currently working a hybrid schedule of 2 to 3 days in office, the rest working from home.
